Aurora Auto Parts and those others are available, but they won't provide CDL training for those runs. Unfortunately, I'm not in a position to be able to afford getting my CDL on my own.

Look into joining a credit union. Easier to get a loan.

    Griffinator Thanks this.

578 miles today. Delivered my load in Portland. Beat feet 185 miles back to Hermiston for a D/H and P/U a load of pallets. Back to Hermiston again for another load of pallets.

Was going stop for the night in Wasco OR, but new assignment has me going to Colunbia City OR for a 10:00 live load. I did not want to fight Portland AM commute traffic, so I drove all the way back to the OC. I will take theload from Columbia City to Sumner to relay. Than I have a 15:00 live load appointment in Kent WA for a load of water going 240 miles to Hermiston for a D/H. Than I head 102 miles to Moxee WA for a D/H load of pallets, going to Portland. So my next couple days are planned out.

    Landog Thanks this.

381 miles today. Well my next couple days loads are gone.
After delivering my load in PortlandI headed 240 miles to Moxee WA for a D/H load of pallets headed back to Portland. I will deliver in the AM.

DBL called to ask if I wanted to go dedicated on this run I have been running for the last 2 weeks. I told him I would try it. He said I would avg 400 miles a day. My pay would change to short haul miles. Basically staying in WA and OR. Would have at least 1 day on the weekend. He said that it may turn into both Sat/Sun off. Still would based out of Sumner. Loads would get me home on Fridays.

We will see if the miles are there. If not, will go back to W11.

549 miles yesterday. Delivered load in Portland than 185 miles from Portland and then 185 miles to Hermiston and back 185 miles to Portland. All D/H's.

New pre asignment is to DH 160 miles to Sumner for a 11:00 live load appointment in Fife WA on Monday. Headed 250 miles to Hermiston. Will get my reset in.

2766 miles last week. No bad miles bouncing around the NW. Looks like I can drive almost max hours daily and reset on weekends. Will see if the miles continue like this.

Are you just bouncing back and forth from Wal-Mart to IFCO??? We are headed to Hermiston to drop off a load of Dog-food (44K). Have to take the road from Winnemuca, NV to Ontario Oregon. 300 miles of nothing...not even a rest area. Not looking forward to it.

You got it. You are right, there is nothing on that route. There is a medium size truck stop outside Marsing ID at the intersection of 95/55 at the stop sign. It is about a mile from the scale once you get into ID. Nice parking, restrooms.

Thank you....I was extremely worried I would have to do 675 miles before I could switch with my co-driver
