I don't believe anything Werner says.I drove for them.Werner like every other company puts things on the back burner no matter how important the driver thinks it is.Sad companies have to be that way to the back bone of the industry.

 

You took post 24 the wrong way,I was'nt defending Werner.

 

I know you did. I remember the stories about you being broke down and walking back and forth from the motel to the shop to see of your truck had been repaired. Those horrible few days.

I did take it the wrong way at first, but now I get it.

Chronic lying is rampant in the trucking industry. I have always thought that a chronic, sociopathic liar could actually put a driver in harms way. I still believe that, and those persons should be avoided anyway possible.

 

Of course Werner is going to downplay this thing, especially if they know they screwed up. I would like someone to keep us updated if Werner incorporates any trainer/trainee system policy changes as a result of this. No doubt Werner management has some 'splainin' to do to some plaintiff attorney, especially if the family has some hard documented proof of what they are claiming.

 

Wait until a though backround check of the perp reveals extensive criminal/mental history that Werner hasn't done due diligence on. Big $ lawsuit for family. Have little patience for mega carriers with 100%+ turnover rates.

 

Food for thought... some people don't "snap" until immersed in a situation that they have no control or understanding of. My money's on the trainer acting inappropriatley..

 

The trainer gets murdered by the trainee, and you want to say the trainER acted "inappropriately"? Nice.

Ok, sure I get it. Maybe the Trainer had some "personality issues" but sense when had that been justification for getting murdered? And why have these issues only been an issue with this particular trainee?
