glad others are starting to feel like I do....always been a tourist trap...never forgave them for price warrin the small family 66 outta biz....along w/the good steakhouse and bar....jus so they could expand the pkg lot.....and any t/s that's a Greyhound stop ain't worth my time....oh yeah and they DO ALLOW the ISP...to do dot's on their pvt property pkg lot....so hey what's not to like.....

 

Go on in there and order the famous award winning pork chop sandwich that has no salt or pepper cooked into it.
Or order eggs over easy in Iowa and they come out with no salt or pepper on them.
Bland..

Iowa won't let the restaurant season the food why do people dream up these IMAGINARY STATE LAWS

 

The food is horrible in the restaurant. It's nothing but a bunch of parking spaces and nasty truck stop fare with fast food and a bunch of overpriced nick nacks.

 

It is impossible to argue with that as far as I'm concerned.
I DO like the Checkered Flag across the street though. $4.00 for an ice cold 24 ounce mug of Shiner Boch.

 

Truck drivers are good at making up stories.

 

I've yet to have food prepared with salt and pepper cooked into it, in Iowa. Or Nebraska.
Salt shakers on a table are for grapefruit and corn on the cob.
I was told they weren't allowed, who knows??
But the beer is good,
