Gotta watch out for Central sometimes. If I get anywhere close to the Chicagoland area they'll run me through the terminal there just because. Now I call Chicago myself to see if they will have freight for me or if Central is just scheduling a restroom break.

Sounds great to me. I'm working 6-7 days week (just worked 39 days in a row) pushing the 70 in 8 constantly. Talk about getting ran to death. I put my app in at OD yesterday, and hoping to get on there.

 

It's hard to say how much longer the union jobs will be able to keep what they have, there very weak in today's market. We need unions more then ever at this time, hopefully history will repeat itself soon and union jobs will up swing. Many old timers risked there jobs, wellness, and even some lost there lives, so we can have the wages and conditions we have today, union or not you benefit from unions. I salute you old timers and thank you for fighting.

 

Why you trying to get into odfl then? Go work at a freaking union shop if they're so great.
