Only reason I would quit now is if there were too many, perceived, negative things to deal with all at once in the workplace.
To me, the biggest things for me to quit over/look for a different job/transfer now would be;
1)Irregular starting and ending times for each workday.
2)Obvious one of bad dispatching
3)Unsafe equipment
I would've also said "having to drive in unsafe conditions", but I typically pull over some place and stop if it gets that bad.
I'll just eat up the consequences of that after the conditions improve and I return-to-base.

I drove a school bus 12 hours a day. Got paid for 4 hours a day. Now they are closed . Good Riddance.
-
Why did they only pay you for 4 hrs?
-
The company is probably a swift company

In answer to the OP's question, I went from my last job to my current one for four more dollars an hour.

I retired after 43 yrs... I loved it but the government has their hands in it way to deep... To many truck mills turning out some students who should not even have a license to drive a car yet stuff them behind the wheel of a big rig... Bad enough with CSA now added to your scores...CDL is a freaking joke... To much this and that #########.... Idiots parking on the fuel islands.. drivers that cant back up,.... I could go on and on.... So now my KW sits in my drive and I drive Custom tour busses and enjoy life.... Every now and then I get a wild hair and call a broker and haul a load but not to much anymore....

Because they only pay when you're driving. You start at 6 am. drive two hours in the morning. 7 to 9 am. but you have to sit all #### day hoping for 2 more hours at noon. For a total of 6. But then you don't get it. And you're waiting until 3pm to get the last 2 hours. 3 pm to 5 pm. back at 6 pm.
Saying that I was the only one of 13 people to get my CDL B . And I had a broken knee cap. I left for a full time foundry job. And they sent me a bill for my physical. For not doing my 6 months time. -
I moved to Colorado Springs in 2010. Coming from the construction industry in November, it wasn't the best laid out plan. I had to bite the bullet and take an OTR stint, so I ran flats, steps, and manual detach RGNs for a fleet owner leased to CRST Malone. Good guy to work for, but Colorado sucks for open deck freight, so I'd be out for a month, come back for a few days, go out for another month. The other half - a.k.a., the reason I moved to Colorado in the first place - got sick of it, so she put the ultimatum down - use my GI Bill for something and get off the road, or that was gonna be the end of it. So I went to school to be a diesel tech, and between reaching a point where I felt I needed to get more hands on with it and a lack of good local driving jobs, I started doing that, instead.
