Can anyone recommend any companies that offer regional driving throughout the south east & train new drivers (with CDL already)?

Would like to be able to get home on weekends most of the time.

Have you graduated from CDL school?

There's dozens of them, but a couple are:

    Evergreen Transport
    Dartco

Submit applications during the first week of CDL school.
    Where is your location?

    Evergreen Transport wouldn't work then.

    KLLM
    Dartco
    Sysco
Knight Transportation - dry van division
Davis Express and Venture Logistics has Southeast regional and might cut some slack on the 12 months experience requirement; apply and find out.

Be careful with that US Express job offer; those solo driver jobs can be lots of driver unloading and very little driving.

I was thinking about them for regional (USX) but didn't know they had driver unloading, their website says 98% no touch, is that not true?

Best to ask them, many drivers have been told that only to find out "that position has been filled."

Sometimes they wait intil you're in orientation, then inform you "that position has been filled" but we have this great job everyone begs for unloading trucks at Dollar General Stores.

I see. ill cross that bridge when I come it I suppose. KLLM & Dartco sound pretty good. I suppose I don't have much options with being on the coast, will probably move to a better area for this once I get some money saved up

Submit a few applications, then take the best job offer or the one you're most interested in.
You're in a dead zone for many companies being East of I-95.
For the future look at South East Carriers. They run Southeast and West Coast and "NO Northeast."
