Sounds like Verizon is offering this price to SCHOOLS...which is a "good thing" and looks good, and makes the company look like they care (it's all about the children). It is a good "image move" on Verizon's part.

So; the "too good to be true" part DOES (or atleast will) apply to the general public eventually.

I just read the story and though the system seemed to work well, Omnilynx can't support it anymore. The article basically says if you have Verizon unlimited data line, hold onto it at all costs! I did find a supplier that rents the grandfathered lines, but they aren't cheap.

 

How much are they and where?
