I live by the rule when its your time its your time. Its good to be worried but dont let it get to ya. You could go to the grocery store and it can happen. I almost crapped my pants when this guy kept going past the red light. But it wasnt my time.
Worried about death from another "driver"?

am i supposed to rub it on my body, or take it with a glass of water or chocolate milk..???

Manned speed cameras in dangerous areas will put a damper on or fine the idiots off the road......nothing else will. Red light cameras are nothing but an accident causing scam. Speed control makes all the difference. Fear of losing their license and paying outrageous insurance bills is the only thing that will stop a moron.
LGarrison Thanks this. -
OK, I'll bite. How do red light cameras cause accidents?
-
Yep....Just last week on 385 near Channing in the Texas panhandle ( 1 in the morning on a two way ) a semi crossed the center line and corrected but another oncoming semi took evasive action too....They hit head on, 3 drivers burned beyond recognition....prayers for their families....do a google "Channing TX 385 wreck" for video.....The driver that caused the wreck was from Africa , a Konnah MannahLast edited: Sep 13, 2015

You'll bite what?
It's well documented that the cameras cause people to slam on their brakes and the crooked companies running these atrocities for profit set them up to maximize fines. -
I'm inclined to agree. What the OP described can happen anywhere, and I would even dare say that it's LESS likely to happen way out west somewhere as opposed to right here on 95 three miles from my house.
How much does gasoline weigh per gallon?
He speaks the truth, and I see it every day.
Around these parts, rear end collisions have sharply increased at intersections monitored by red light cameras. People are slamming on the brakes like never before when approaching these, and in some cases for good reason, because the company the municipality contracts with to install the cameras gets a cut of the revenue from the cameras, so conveniently enough at some of these intersections yellow light times have been shortened.Last edited: Sep 13, 2015

Can't say I've noticed an increase in people screeching to a halt at red lights. I have noticed shorter yellows though. I feel confident my dash cam will accurately record the event if I should rear end a screeching 4 wheeler or run a short yellow.
How do you know there's a red light camera at the intersection? -
I didn't read all the posts, but I think that maybe you should stop driving period and find something else to do, that's just my .02 cents worth. This occupation is in the top 3 or 5 most dangerous jobs
Canned Spam and Cali kid Thank this. -
