Pretty simple question there.
How does Millis does OTR? I read their "hometime promise" on the website but wanted to see how most people's schedule worked? Do you get to pick your schedule or do they typically want some sort of commitment?
TIA.

OTR you are out 2 weeks...I used to run 11 out 3 home...Would go out Monday morning and come home Thursday evening. If you go Regional...Monday thru Friday mostly
59EX Thanks this. -
11/3 is exactly the schedule I'm hoping for. What kind of miles were you getting with that kind of home time? Thx.

Where do you live? Millis has a great freight base...but where you live really determines how you will run if you want to go home every two weeks and make good money. -
I lived right outside Chattanooga TN

That depends on your relationship with your dispatcher. Some weeks I had 3200 other weeks upper 2000's, some weeks 1900. The inconsistency is the reason I left. I never picked up or delivered later, never tried to turn a load down, and never argued with my dispatcher.

Basically you get 36 hours off for every 7 days out. From talking to the many drivers here in Trenton, you can pretty much stay out as long as you want. One of the guys I was talking to typically stays out 3 weeks and then gets 4 1/2 days off.

The schedule I ran was 18 days out 3 1/2 home~got home on Friday leave out Tuesday which would equate to two good checks one short check, for the most part got home on time with a few hiccups here and there
