Sue individually boss, class action suits only benefit lawyers. You can read about it here: http://www.forbes.com/sites/danielf...ctions-lawyers-are-mostly-paid-to-do-nothing/
-
Why do u even worry about it?hes a big boy right....and btw he's talking about someone else....
-
Besides most class action lawsuits are about FORCING CHANGE....something badly needed at SOME PLACES!
-
Calm down, I'm not being rude to him, I'm just offering a useful suggestion. Being part of a class action lawsuit is only helpful if you're a lawyer. Win or loss, the vast majority of people get nothing and the lawyers get PAAAAAAAID.
C'mon man, you know that doesn't happen. Most big businesses get sued all the time. They just weather the storm and keep on trucking (pardon the pun).
On the off chance that a company loses a procedural case, they just change their policies and procedures and keep taking advantage of the little guys. It's not like any company ever has lost a case and said "You know what, that policy we had that clearly took advantage of [something] was wrong and we should become a charity".
I realize that sounds kind of bleak, but it's sort of the world we live in now. All of us (you, me, Rayon, etc.) don't have the clout to protect ourselves.

Sorry, missed this post.
Regarding the bolded: I believe she said that Quality Accounting sent her that note right? Do you know if the group they're using is 1) All of Eagle, 2) All of Quality, 3) All drivers enrolled in Quality's accounting services, or 4) Another group?
I honestly have no idea, but I think it's 3. -
I don't think it's about win are loss it's like monkey say change we cannot burn building down are kill each other but we can get help thur the court even if we that is there don't get a penny at least you guys as in eagle/ celadon would have made some changes like you said we/ thy would just change policies and that is the saddest part about it that you guys will use loophole to get around the system and don't give a hell about it lets put it this way eagle behavior is almost like crst a low life rat that will take on take then say we have a driver shortage you just answer that question for the country stop bending us over and take from us as far me I have over 20 years I never see some of these $$$$ that you guys get away with by using loophole to take from us you come here as if you one of us but the more you open your pen the more we see your true colors

Well, to be clear, it's not about using loopholes or anything to take advantage of anyone, it's about common sense that every company uses.
If you join a church softball league, what do you have to sign? A release waiver. Why? Because the Church is going to do everything it can to protect itself from lawsuits. It's the same if you go to a go-kart track, go bungie jumping, or anything else.
Companies are always going to make sure they take a few risks as possible. That's not just an Eagle/Celadon/etc. thing, it's an "every company in the world" thing. -
Hey ... let me know which one ... if you do a good job, I usually throw 20 to the crew for a pizza.fr8monkey Thanks this.
