Only thing I'd add about WS, I find the dash layout to be very poor and not driver friendly. If you're lucky enough to find a place to put your coffee, good luck finding a console of any kind to place anything else. Everything ends up on the floor.
Pete, Kenworth, or Western Star

After having owned 2 KW's since 2006, the 2005 was a decent truck, the 2007 interior in the last one was a plastic snap together rattling piece of crap. Not impressed with the new Paccar offerings at all, I was reluctant but ordered a new WS, there is a reason they are a little heavier, they are built far superior to anything else. My WS weighs 700 lbs more than my 05 W9, but it has 10" more wheelbase, and a bunk that is 12" longer. I will likely never own another brand.
Cetane+ Thanks this. -
I agree they got alot of real good ideas the way they build things .
Even cross members stuff like that .
I'd take heavy over plastic tuperwear any day. -
They chose a KW to do the show BJ & the Bear for a reason, anyone remember why?
Newest thing I have driven is 07 International and a 2011 Freightliner (Ryder rental), drove 97-357 Cat / 98-357 Cummins, still partial to the KW. Pete clutch pedal? Still have a 1955 chevy truck so no problem.
