Why does everyone blame everyone else for their problems but themselves? Maybe your husband isn't cut out for anything besides McDonalds or Pizza Hut.

And besides, why do all these women posts for there husbands? Can the husbands not do it? What's with these boys they have for husbands? What a bunch a crybabies.

How do you know your wife is cheating on you with a JB driver?

When you get home he's still trying to back out of the driveway.

Oh sorry, thought this was a JB hunt jokes thread

    Hick and Dark_Majesty_06 Thank this.

I would have to respectfully disagree. The new format is laid out pretty simple. In this day and age anyone younger than 55 should have at least a basic understanding. After all, we're a bunch of drivers. It's not like we're on here writing in binary code.

And I will respectfully disagree with you. My husband is technologically challenged, and has me ask questions here from time to time, because he's never even been on a forum. Give him a motor, and he can figure it out, hand him a computer and he's got the deer in the headlights look the minute it hits his hands.

There are those that don't understand technology and those that do. My brother is better at using a computer than my husband, and he's 15 years older than my husband.

Point taken. My Better half can't figure out her laptop and she's 6 years younger than me.

Knows how to work Netflix and order stuff though! :)

I worked for them for 2 years doing local intermodal. That was they way to go. Miles were only a fraction of my pay.

Bottom line for jb..dcs and intermodel drivers are very happy..idk bout otr but i can tell u we got some great local jobs everywhere. Not tryin to start an argument with anyone cuz i respect every driver on here n there experience good n bad n advice..this is just mine. Where else can u drive 60-70 thousand miles a year n not touch any freight and make 55-75 k per year depending how hard u wanna work n great full benefits for cheap. I mean we got drivers workin 6 days n makin 70-75k but they choose to work 6. They may have been slimey in 1992 but i dont see any slime goin on over in dcs n intermodel in pa n ny in 4 years i been there. The job is easy n if ur in dcs in ny especially u will become a excellent backer cuz ur gonna do nyc almost everyday n alot of docks u hit will be some of the toughest n in most congested areas u ever been in. Ur gonna hit 3-6 docks daily. U will get creative..trust that! But we also do long island. South and north jersey n ct Tons of pa backhauls everyday along with jersey city and some l island bhauls. My check this week was $1,327- bring home $908. 1376 miles total! 5days! Thats .96 cpm when all said n done as a company driver! Mileage pay is a fraction of what ur paid for. Again Im just tryin to help folks who wanna be with there families everyday with mine n many others real and current experience w jb. Take it as u will..no skin off my back. I dont gain nothing just know what jb is doin right now!... not 20 years ago. .Good luck to all u n glad there is ttr to help out one another.

I'm sorry about your bad experiences with JB Hunt. I got my start with them in a cabover (I really miss those) and was OTR. I agree it was sitting and waiting a lot. I'm now with DCS and couldn't be happier. I'm with a great account. A lot of great people and I really enjoy going to our customers. And it was EVERYTHING my recruiter said it would be.
By the way-it wasn't sarcasm about the cabovers. I loved the ones we drove for Hunt back in the day, and my first truck I bought was a retired Walmart cabover that was in top condition, Saab, Volvo, and Mercedes still make them in Europe, and I wish they'd have them here. I'd buy another one in a minute! Good luck to all of you and I hope you find your ideal situation.
