Yeah but any schmuck of a prosecutor would eat you alive in court and put you behind bars. You cant hold someone at gun point over a vehicular accident, because AFTER the fact that driver is unarmed and you're just a vigilante taking the law into his own hands. Just sayin'

Accident? I thought this was road rage.
The driver of the truck is using the truck as a weapon. How many dumb dui drivers have been shot by LE for trying to hit the officer with the vehicle.
Believe me, I hope that kind of deal never comes my way (deadly force).
Bail out, hope you can get to driver via unlocked door. If not pull them airlines and watch the fun...fuzzeymateo Thanks this. -
LE has a badge to hide behind in a court oflaw. Though I am being an opposing party right now, or so seem like it, I do agree with you. Unfortunately the law will not always favor in what is RIGHT.
What the driver did isn't right, but its still funny. -

On the other hand, this driver didn't do himself - or the rest of us - any favors, either. When people see a single 4-wheeler screwing up they usually think, "wow, that guy can't drive". But, when they see a big truck doing the same thing, it suddenly turns into, "man, all these truckers are a menace..." People like to paint us all with the same, horrible, stupid brush. I guess that's why I watch how I treat people out there on the road; I don't want some other hapless trucker getting convicted in the court of public opinion because of something I did.mrdot and HalpinUout Thank this. -
I think with the low speeds and the slow tap of the vehicle it is possible the driver was doing something in the cab and wasn't paying attention an very possible he had head-phones on or the music up loud and didn't hear it either... If he was busy looking at something in the cab when "Ray" excited the vehicle it is possible that he never notice Ray get out of the vehicle and look... When the Truck driver was waving his hands it possibly looks as if he was signaling Ray to pull onto the shoulder instead of getting out of the vehicle in the travel lanes...
Now "Rays" claim of still being shaken a week later sounds like he is just saying that so he can get more money out of the settlement, if he decides to sue
If the driver was doing this intentionally as a case of road rage I think he would have hit the vehicle a lot harder... The video clearly shows very minor damage...mrdot Thanks this. -
Welcome to the trucking industry! We take in every loser with poor or no moral quality....Every douche bag from (insert third world immigrant country or name of correctional facility here). Prior DUI's? Prior criminal record? Convicted felon? Wanted felon? Former drug user? Current drug user? You no speak a no English? You don't bathe? Your mom just kicked you out of the basement? Etc. Etc. Etc. I could go on and on but I don't need to. The replies to this thread saying "the guy deserved it" demonstrate where this industry is. I've got nothing else to say, it speaks for itself.
