1. Attention employers: We now require a valid DOT# for anyone wishing to post a driving position. If your job offer doesn't contain a DOT number, it will not get past moderation and will not appear in the forum. The other requirements in the sticky at the top of this section are still required as well. Thank you for understanding.

The position is OTR, mostly pulling refrigerated freight from NWA and Joplin area up to Upper New England about 3 days up (NO NYC) and then working you back home with varied freight in 3-4 days.
This is the same run I was doing in the truck and the lane is pretty nice.(1400 miles out usually about 1600 back). The load and unload times have never been a problem and I will pay you detention if they are. You could then take 3 or 4 days off and then do it again. These are not dedicated runs so we can we flexible if you have stuff going on at home.
The Truck is tagged for all 50 states so if you feel like going out west and we can find some good runs we can do that as well. Let me know if any of this interests you. Truck has a 13 speed, no speed limiter, fridge and separate door freezer, 23 inch wall mounted flat-screen monitor, Freightliner Coronado. It would be easier to get you home if you lived in the North West Arkansas area but if getting home is less of a priority and you want to stay out more we can do that too. I need to step out of the truck for the foreseeable future and want to get my truck rolling and add more trucks soon. As a driver I understand what it is like out there and can take care of you with great pay and actual home time to enjoy it. Let me know if you have any questions.
Picture is of the exact truck and trailer you would be driving.

This almost sounds like a too-good-to-be-true gig. Sorry I'm not in that area.

Some questions though, that people are going to ask:
What are you paying? Payroll or 10-99?
Do you have any benefits or is it an Affordable HC thing?
Does your truck have an APU? Or what is your requirements on idling?
How do you dispatch? Are you with a company or are you Own Authority and using brokers?
Qualcomm? eLog? GPS? or Paper and Map?
    Solo, Team?
    Riders or pets?
    Commdata, direct deposit, or?

Your offer is basically what I'd love to do if I was anywhere in that area. Even without answers to the above questions.

    LaMonicaTrucking and Milkman719 Thank this.

    Phantazix,

Thanks for the reply, you asked some good questions I can answer.

We can do regular payroll or we could do 1099s really whatever the driver is more comfortable with.
I can come up with some different health benefit/401k options but as I am a very small company its not going to be Cadillac Health care, but i hope to make up for it with better pay.
Truck doesn't have an APU, but driver can idle when needed. I don't plan on having you sit long so idling won't be an issue.
I have my own Authority and will be working with Customers and Brokers.
No Qualcomm, you would be dispatched by phone and email/text. I will provide a Garmin Truck GPS. Paper Logs. Will provide Sirius satellite radio as well.
    Would be a Solo position.
    Riders/Pets are ok.
Would be direct deposit or paper checks.

Where are you located? How much experience do you have?
Really appreciate all the questions if you have any more let me know.

    Thanks, Mike

Thanks for being a great guy and answering the questions. I'm in SoCal so it is the opposite side of the country you need. I just know those are the questions that people are going to really want to know. It sounds like a great gig and I'd be all in if I was there. Lots of good drivers around here, I hope you find your perfect one.
