$15.00 subway gift card, which all and all, is, better than a sharp stick in the eye.

The flying J in Max Meadows, VA was cooking free hamburgers and hotdogs. Also free ice cream sammiches, soda and water. Also a spin the wheel to when gifts. I got 3 hats and some pens....
The company was having cookouts all week and raffles for gift cards and things.... Course I wasn't even close to Fargo ND or Coon Rapids MN to participate

I got a hat from a customer and a pilot mug from a cashier.

    And some pretty good loads.

Intersting experience since I was on light duty all week and so around the company HQ yard.
Basically not a thing. They served Pizza one day at lunch for all the office staff and the all of 10 actual drivers.
They actually had a rocking luch on Friday where they gave out the million mile awards (props to my fellow drivers) and that was it. If they really anted to show appreciation, they couldhave just given every driver a winter jacket. Fairly cheap and very much appreciated by everyone.

In my case it wasn't so much "Driver appreciation week" as "people who work at HQ appreciation week," Cause God knows the DRIVERS were all....DRIVING.

I got to sit at home while the shop worked on my truck. I'm going down there first thing in the morning and going to ask WTF, why isn't the truck done yet? (Although, I'll say it a little nicer than that..)
