I am. The physical therapist is the one who mentioned RIPPED tendon. Cause this SHOULD be a little better for just a strain.
Doing everything I can. All I want to do is get back on the dang road!

Keep your chin up man. It will heal. You will be back on the road sooner than you beleive. Just keep thinking about what motivates you and keep pushing through this.
fargonaz, Sneakerfix and Jubal3 Thank this. -
What diagnostics has your actual Dr. performed? If the therapist thinks its ruptured, they should have referred you back to the Dr. before performing any more therapy... If the original diagnosis was a strain.
Sneakerfix, Jubal3 and OlChev Thank this. -

Well ####. They took my truck away.
Got the call today as I was at physical therapy.
I know why. It totally makes sense and my DM was awesome about it, but I gotta clear out my truck so they can reassign it.
Feels like getting fired. I am NOT getting fired. I know this. It just feels really rotten because I just want to work and get back on the road, which I happen to really enjoy.
So in the AM I am going to clear out my truck. I'll have to get help with the microwave because I don't think I can lift it safely, but it feels...like losing my home. It is, after all, the only home I've GOT, which is probably why I'm feeling so rotten about it. Turning in the keys is going to really stink too.
On the upside, I think I'm getting a little better. On the downside, people in the know are suggesting I switch to dryvan or reefer, because this stuff NEVER heals completely. Some pain I can live with. But I have to be able to DO the job. and right now I couldn't pass the company physical.
Rough times. I'll muddle through and I will keep driving. I like the job too much not to. But dang this has been a rough road.
Ya, feeling sorry for myself, I know. Just hard to not feel pretty bad at the moment. As for Systems, gain, no complaints. I'm being treated more than fairly. They gave me an opportunity to make very good money and are STILL treating me well.
Oh, that guy I was talking about in orientation is no longer doing orientation. And ya know what? He's a pretty good guy. Greets me by name, asks me how things are going every time he sees me. Will talk in detail on any trucking issue anyone asks him about in a helpful way and REALLY knows his stuff.
Gotta say, a fella could do a LOT worse than System. -
Who does orientation now? -
I realize that this is literally physically impossible, but hey, a guy can dream right?
Thanks for the kind words. I know it's going to be OK. Sometimes you just have to walk through 10 miles of ##### to get to the path you want. -
I'll be in the yard tomorrow morning if you need some help. What's your truck number?
