I'm sorry as well to hear about this, driver. I've had some bad trailers at times, sometimes even using the low gear is difficult. I threw my shoulder out in February and it took until June until the pain went away. I can't remember how it happened, but it was probably the landing gear.

Best wishes. Maybe you can go into dispatching?

Man, most of these stories i hear involve a landing gear. What a deceptively dangerous piece of equipment.

My prayers go out to you brother.

yea who would have thought it? not me until now anyway. i thought about inventing an air powered or electric system with the crank being there in case the electric or air powered motors go out. would be safer but a lot of people would also call that laziness probably. would still save a lot of injuries though. who knows, they may be already out there somewhere and only bought by non cheap skate companies, i havent seen any yet though. but im not the sharpest tool in the shed and you would think someone would have thought of this a long time ago if it would be a successful venture

Might still stay in trucking in safety department. Wouldn't make as much as the drivers, but it's a job.

sorry to hear about that. sounds painful. all because of some idiot not watching what they were doing, you had to pay the price. its a wonder you lived through it.

that may never exist but if they ever get tired of hiring new drivers because of injuries , then maybe they will find out that preventive measures are cheaper in the long run.
