Are my eyes lying to me?

Seems like every day I read this forum, it is the same thing time and time again. "I'm thinking of going with ________ but I read bad things about them so I think I will stay away." I started driving in 2011 and have worked for 6 companies and have gone back to 2 of them after quitting so I am on my 9th job since 2011 but NONE of them were bad. I actually enjoyed every single 1 of them as far as a trucking job goes. I personally just don't like it on the road so I work 1-9 months and quit. (only 1 of the jobs I had for 9 months, the others were done in 4 or less). I would go back to any of them right now besides 1 of them and it was a great company if u like Tanker, personally I didn't like the labor. I got fired from my last job and still say they were a great company, if not the best of them all. The job I have right now, I just started 2 weeks ago and no complaints here either. Bottom line is, truck drivers are going to complain and tell bs stories/lies as well as exaggerate every single thing. If you want an OTR job, get an OTR job. If you want a Regional job, get a regional job. Local job, get a local job. Dedicated, get a dedicated job. Find what u want to do and don't let someone tell u not to because low and behold, that will be the best company FOR U!

On a side note, for people wondering if I hate the road, y don't I find a local job.........because they require searching for. I like picking up the phone, calling a recruiter and 24 hours later have an approval to go to orientation. Once again, that's ME.
