I use this mount on the passenger side where the look down mirror is mounted. If you have the mirror, you can still use this mount. It uses the 2 factory screws that should be there, even if you don't have the mirror.
No holes needed, they're already there. Once it's mounted, just route the coax over the door frame, tuck it under the weather stripping along the inside, and snake it down to where the underside of the passenger dash is located and finish routing it from there.
I use a MobileSpec MSTRSAT antenna.
