I don't have much experience driving a manual vehicle. I'm joining up with Prime trucking student driver program. Will they whip my ### into shape?

And to answer your question, you'll be fine. Believe it or not, it's actually better (IMO) to not have much experience with a manual in a car beforehand. It's a lot different shifting a truck than in a 4 wheeler. But rest assured, they will go over it with you. I've actually heard more good things about Prime's CDL school than most if not all the other mega carriers. You'll make it.

Prime is pretty good from what I've read. Check out the motor carrier inside scoop forum there's a whole section about Prime.
Just don't let them put you in a purple truck. Not that there's anything wrong with that.
