Oh, I C what you're saying. probably some guys trying to sleep at night when they're home and stay up at night when they're running. that doesn't work. the sleep thing can be tricky, but the main thing to remember is that usually running short on sleep won't hit you the next day but the following day. Once drivers understand that it's easier to manage and plan. It catches up with you two days after. And you're always better if you can sleep the same 6 or 8 hours every day.

Plenty of time to sleep when you are dead.

JK, but sounds like a good gig and out of AZ to boot. -
If you have been out 2 years I'm sure you a good idea what this is all about. If you get your auth. and stay persistent you should be fine. Just make sure you have proper warranty, and emergency fund. We all had to start somewhere. Network with a handful of brokers-don't get all over the place. Once you are recognized in your lane things will run smooth-all that filing BK stuff applies to any mismanaged business young or old. Have a solid plan, be persistent, and have fun!

I had a linehaul run on auto parts doing the same amounts....got my feet wet in the game before I moved on thats actually only like $1.28 mile running 2400 miles one week and 3600 the next off on weekends...its ok to start you learn how to budget do your fuel, taxes, etc so ne is not doing bad....but its better money out here once he has more experience and if he has the desire he will move on

And....it still sucks! Just went through orientation as an O/O and quit before I got under my first load! They will tell you what you want to hear to get in the door. Don't walk, RUN!!! I posted some other stuff, so, see details on my other posts.
