i used to like racing up off the Outer Banks only to get to the Bridge Tunnel and it would be closed. First few years it never closed but I suppose when you had to have your windshield wipers on because of the waves hitting the bridge it made sense
When the hurricanes are forecasted ypu see the Chespeake Bay full of boats and ships. The navy goes to sea for the hurricane so they dont beat up the ships tied to the docks. And the 75 foot fishing boats tie to the Navy piers not to be on the ocean
everything under 40 foot tries to get hauled out in the boat yard
it all appears a little counter intuitive. Unless you get a direct hit from a 4-5 hurricane boats in the water bounce around more safely then on stands and the wind knocks them over like dominoes
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

@Rocks, it's like anywhere else in the developed world. The best food is not gonna be found at the major food chains of the world. You have to seek out the locals and find their grocery stores, their restaurants, their farms. Brazil is a warm weather country so it's easy to take for granted that everything that grows there should be able to grow everywhere else.
This being a "new" country with a multicultural society, it tries to cater to everyone unlike the rest of the world who only has to cater to one cultural cuisine. That's what I always tell my overseas friends what I love about America.....I can have any type of food anytime I want. It's just a phone call/car ride away. My parents got back from Florida and they brought with them a Jackfruit.
Speaking of coffee @RedForeman, Cuban coffee is addictive.
Good luck @sshewins ! Hope it works out.
@Voyager1968, how are you doing ?

Load was ready around 4:30am. Currently in Arkansas on I-30. Should be in Groveport, OH by 2:30am then gonna hurry on home. Got me a pizza that doesn't need to be folded waiting for me. Ordered a Borla exhaust pipe for my FJ Cruiser. Looking forward to getting that installed.

The off road vehicle gives me that hardcore look without getting dirty. The guys on the FJ forum think it's a sin but it'll never go off roading.
