They don't turn their bright-arse lights off for you do they?
Buncha prix.
No signs to the contrary, lights stay on. Don't need to give them a reason to write a ticket. -
The weigh stations in Alaska have a sign which states: "Turn Off Headlights", they make no distinction between night or day times.

I follow the signs. Some say off, one that I know of say on, and most don't have one at all.

You can hold that button on the steering wheel to keep the lights off in a prostar until you pass the window. I always turn my lights off so they can see my plate without straining, do what they have to do and let me out. It's sometimes hard to see with the light shining through their window.
Whether there is a sign or not it's a norm to turn off your headlights when passing through a station . -
I think that the US market DRL systems in trucks need to be wired like the ones I installed in my Camry and the ones that my daughters Chevy HHR has. They turn off when the parking lamps are turned on, not just the headlights. They can be, but most manufacturers install the Canadian systems in their US trucks to save on production costs since Canadian regulations don't allow for such a DRL disable position on the headlamp switch.
