Thinking of Conway TL

How long ago were you there?

 

That's actually not the main Driver Dashboard screen. It's the MPG screen off of the Dashboard.

 

I want to say back in 2010... Was with them for a year then went to freight.

 

Pretty sure they had the Driver Dashboard back then.

Lots of drivers never use it. But I like to keep up with what's going on and with my miles. Maybe that's why I'm not one of the drivers whining about low miles.

 

I could be wrong but I don't think they had that back when I was with them...

Do they still have the 'morning message" where you can call the 800# and listen to the lady give the numbers as far as to many trucks in such areas or not enough trucks in certain areas, accidents for the week, on time service and service failures and stuff like that?

 

They stopped doing that a couple months ago. They claim that with the new automated planning software that the Morning Report is no longer necessary.

I disagree, I used to listen to it every morning and found the info valuable.

I used that info to help me maximize my hours by trying to work toward areas where we were short trucks, etc.

 

I would listen to it daily as well... I used to find it amusing that 90% of the time someone had a service failure it was because they use the excuse "I overslept" LOL

Do they still have the # you can call and see what # you are on the board?

 

I think so but I just look on the Driver Dashboard.

If you're (not your) referring to me, no, I'm not Con-way Freight, I drive for Truckload.

But you thinking I am Con-way Freight does make a lot of sense (not since) as to why you spout off about things you don't know anything about; apparently, you just don't pay attention.
