Any info on Henderson trucking?

    I am thinking of applying to Henderson. Do you know where they train, do they do a physical? Any info would be great.

    They used to do orientation at Salem, Il. but they opened another yard around St. Louis a few yrs back, so not sure just what is going on there. The old man passed away and the son is running it plus they hooked up with Prime in some kind of partnership.

    I work for Henderson. They still have an office in Salem, IL, but the terminal is in Caseyville, IL, outside St. Louis. They do a normal DOT physical, plus a physical agility test, or something like that. Basically, you carry a 50 lb. box back and forth a few times and then get in and out of the truck ten times. Nothing crazy. Any other questions, let me know. I'm pretty happy here, the Prime thing notwithstanding.

    Thanks for the info. I could not find much on them. I was just wondering where they had their orientation at Salem is not far from where I live and the other one is not to far off.

    I had a friend go through there school. Schools ok a bit over priced. Its new they started it first of the year after prime bailed them out of bankruptcy. The company used to be ok when the old man ran it. It was never great always did pay cheap. When the boy took over he ran it in the ground. He is still there but prime runs the show. From what I'm told they want you out a month at a time. Idk about rider policy. Whatever you do DON'T LEASE they will push you to, but don't leasing is a scam and there lease is terrible!!!!
