    Is a 772 on trans union just ok or very good ..?

    I went looking at new trailers a while ago. Told them I'd think about it....

    And today I get a letter from the dealership . All that was in the envelope was a copy of my credit score .

    I was trying to figure out what the sales person was telling me....

    You have to watch who you get your Fico score from. 99% of the free credit scores provided online are Fako scores. They will show substantially higher than the score pulled from most lenders. Sometimes they will be lower! Myfico is pretty accurate but you have to pay for their scores.

    The Discover Card statement is an actual, genuine FICO score. There is only one FICO score, but there are other types of credit scores which vary in their ranges and scoring criteria.
