287 miles today. Back at the OC for the night.

It's been a couple weeks since I was back to the pallets place. They sure cleaned up the trailers there. Trailers that had not been moved in 4 weeks were gone. All the loaded trailers off the street. 4 MT trailers at the dock. WOW.... Someone or something got them on the stick. They did have about a total of 10 trailers that were MT.

New pre assignment is to BT 253 miles to Chiloquin OR for a 17:00 appointment tomorrow. Then head back to the OC to relay the load. The load is going to Auburn WA. Don't see why I can't take it. Even if deliver is on Monday. May be delivery date is later in the week. We will see.

Are you bring paid a special mileage rate, piece rate or something? I talked with 2 driver on the AB account tonight and wow is that thing screwed up. A megaton of waiting, loads never even close to done in time. Not enough loads for all the drivers they hired. I'm pretty sure I'm moving to Portland by the end of the year. Not sure If I want to stay with them

I am not on the AB account but I think they paid CPM. I would not want to be on that account because they are all live unloads. Driving around with 94K-96K in the box does not sound fun. To much dead time at the docks waiting for people to come off breaks. I get paid short haul CPM on this PNW fleet. Which is a few CPM more than when I was on W11. First few weeks miles were around 2500-2800 a week. Last few week miles have been closer to 2000-2300.

If you do move to Portland, live in WA ( no state income tax) but buy everything in OR (no sales tax). The Vancouver WA area is nice and only 10 miles from the OC.

Yeah I tried to get them to fix it, but since the fault codes were no longer active at the time (even though they do keep coming back), I got the line of "we'll check at your next PM".

528 miles yesterday. Got back to the OC last night at 22:30. Late night. Did not start my day till noon.

490 miles today. New pre assignment is to DH 80 miles to Lebanon for a D/H. Head 555 miles to Antioch CA for a D/H tomorrow. Made it as far as Corning CA for the night.

Next assignment to head 50 miles to French Camp OC to P/U relay that goes 610 miles to Wilsonville OR. Appointment is for Tuesday at 07:00. A 3 hour live unload. Fun.

I call support for my 3 way call and as I was on hold, then the recorded message said something about SNI was going to start hauling liquid totes of some sort and drivers needed tanker endorsement to haul since they were going to be over 1000lbs. Has anyone heard about this? I was not really paying to close attention to the message and when I started that's about all I caught. Will go to Crossroads to see any info there.

The tanker endorsement is federal requirement now when hauling liquid totes in a van trl.

There trying to have more options of freight to haul. Pushing to get HAZMAT for as many drivers as possible. We'll see how it goes.

Chris LOVES UPS! Steady route, steady paycheck...not treated poorly by shippers/recievers. I have a new co-driver until late December then I'm taking a break. I have been asked to Mentor new team drivers. Ride with a new driver for a month then start over with another driver. Kind of like being a TE but longer. Apparently most Teams average 4500-5000 miles a week. My co-driver has been with the company 6 months and his highest week was 5400 miles. We did 7700 this week and are running on recap.

Great for Chris. taugust was going to do the mentoring also before he went tanker. Will you be sitting in the right seat the entire time or more like teaming?

I got my tanker, double and triples, And of course my HazMat endorsement already. I just applied for a TWIC card last week. Just to keep options open.

It's teaming....mostly teaching the Qualcomm and trip planning. I'll make more money but what I'm really trying to do is run 3-5 weeks...take a couple weeks off. Running as hard as I have been is taking a toll on the body. Looking to enjoy the money I'm making to play a little more. More balance!

482 miles today. P/U relay in French Camp. Stopped in Weed for the night. Could have made it to Medred, but it fills up fast and I did not to take the chance. Will drive to 335 miles to Aurora tomorrow. Setup for Tuesday 07:00 appointment.
