I worked in a Waldemort grocery DC for nearly a year. It's the most passive-aggressive company culture I've ever experienced. I've seen people get written up for punching in one minute early and also for taking a day off to get wisdom teeth pulled (That's an unexcused absence, and no, they do not accept doctor's notes.).
They require people who are authoritarians followers and are smart enough to pay attention to detail and internalized the rules. Many people don't last very long there as the work is grueling and endless and you're expected to toe the line every minute, as well as keep up production standards. So you work fast.
Waldemort products are infused with suffering. I'm truly thankful I left that place.
How come everyone isn't driving for Walmart?
