Champion Truck Lines, LLC - Tulsa

Just got back home from orientation with Champion Truck Lines. They are also Canyon Truck Lines too.I didn't take the job or sighn the lease.Something wasn't right.seen at least +6 drivers quit while I was there. Didn't see anyone comming to the yrd. Only the guys in orientation.They where going out to retrieve abandoned trucks left and right. You sleep in a truck for orientation no hotel. They do give you a lunch for 2 days. They have a decent office but orientation is in the back of the shop very unorganized, nasty restroom, basically your outside for orientation.Yes Sammy is still there.Pretty much he runs Game for Brandon.Sammy is the Con artist. They are buying old TMC trucks miles over a million 2006 &7...they take 10% of your Gross income.Why they say it's for when you're engine goes out. +$$450 aweek truck note 3yrs $70k on that.No they do not do repair on truck when they buy them for $40k from TMC.they just get them running.no rebuilt engines.. That's what they told me....it was not...expect to get pulled into scale a lot..they have higher scores w dot... So they are trying to switch everything over to Canyon..Still Brandon company since April.. On driver said he Grossed 6k..only took home 1,000 and was not in the hole...flat bed does pay for trailer $300 aweek.... 70% supposed to go to driver...But ain't no way....they are a click if you are in the family you mite get looked after if you're just a driver trying to make a living beware of this company something ain't right

 

moma just text me that our check is $1470 for this coming pay day. That's inly runin 2900 miles 2. I'm as happy as fat kid loves cake!!

I tried to add to the thread on Foster Frac but it has been closed and there is so much more that has to be said about these people...according to the thread, they left many drivers high and dry when they moved from texas to tulsa ok....well now they call themselves "Champion Truck Lines and they are doing it again...I know this because they fooled me too...I left my job at SRT( southern refrigerated) after talking to "Ashley" on the phone...she kept saying that I better get in asap because they were booked in training for the next month....and looking at their website and seeing all those former black and chrome Petes from TMC, ...well I fell for it....mostly because she (at the behest of her bosses) said that all the truck's cat15 engines had been overhauled...at $70,000 I thought was a pretty good deal...so i rolled to the SRT yard and turned in the truck, rented a car, put all my stuff in it and rolled to Tulsa on Thursday last week....that night i got a motel room for my wife and myself...next morning I met the people there and the trucks and was sorely.....I mean sadly ....disappointed.
The people in the office were nice...I asked for Ashley...waited... and a Punk Rock, clowned faced... girl comes up and introduces herself as Ashely....I'll make it short....they had one truck on a dirty yard( not the one on the website) and the batteries were dead...no mattress in it dirty on the inside...talked to Jennifer from so called "safety" and stated my issues...Then a Chubby, red faced kid by the name of Brandon F calls me in to an office and if front of everyone, tells me that maybe this company is not for me....after I quit my job and eventually ended up spending over $300...to get there....what a joke....no overhauls....all trucks broke down...drivers there say that 9 drivers turned in there keys in one week...all the stuff they said over the phone was false....ended up spending 3 days in the truck until Sunday of this week...so dissapointed and heartbroken....idled the truck on the first day as per Sammy to charge the batteries....next day asked if we could get some fuel and the Chubby kid said that it would have to come from me because I idled the truck the day before....batteries kept dying out every half hour....just horrible man....rented another car on Sunday night*spent another $300...rolled to Austin TX ...interviewed for a new job on Monday morning with a company called FSTI....chemicals....Pays .63/ mile $5000 bonus as company driver....waiting on background check and training is 3 weeks long...pays $200 a day during training...will start next week if everything goes well.......This was definitely a Blessing in Disguise.....unfortunate for the people at that God forsaken Yard at Champion....AS SAID ON ORIGINAL FOSTER FRAC THREAD.....DRIVERS BEWARE!!!

Exactly what happened to me...no hotel ####ty trucks..Over a million miles.no rebuilt engines ..no sertified shop workers....unprofessional dirty inviorment... And they take 10% of your Gross..for escrow... You want see that come back

 

You are so far out on the truth! Your truck was cleared to go and you just wanted work done that didn't need to be done, you had never been an owner operator before, you and I had this conversation at the yard.

 

And you! Wow you showed up days early, started demanding things and being rude to the girls in safety. You also were told not to drive the truck you were in and you waited till everyone had left for the day then drove off in the truck. We had to go hunt for you, and I would be careful who you call chubby. I guess your 15 years of experience that you thought world give you seniority, or that's what your wife said. They could have told you go away till Monday, witch is when you were suppose to be there, so maybe you were at fault in your case

Maybe you should go down to peterbilt and by your own truck, then get it worked on there, I hear they have certified mechanics there. Easy for you guys to talk crap when this man is selling you a truck with no money down and getting them dot ready on his money and not yours. Just saying!
