New AC Adapter

    Where can i pick up a new adapter for my laptop ? Don't need it yet but it is old and i don't want to be without one when it does then wait forever for it to come in the mail.

    What kind of notebook? Should be able to order a replacement from the manufacturer.

    its a dell laptop. i don't care for dell at all but it is for the road and i don't have much money in it but enough that i want to keep it running. it travels with me on the road and when i travel abroad and has held up pretty good.

    Should be able to get something fairly cheaply.. Did a quick Google and found this.. Looks promising..

    best buy has a universal power supply,

    it senses what voltage your laptop needs and then sets itself to that voltage.

    the also have one that does that is able to run off 110 or 12 volt for a bit more than a hundred bucks

    thats cool. i am gonna have to check that out and compare prices and durability of each.

    Ya the best buy universal is around $100 rip off... I went next door to some Asian computer shop and bought a power supply for $35 and works just fine..
