Petro Atlanta.
Not on my favorite places list but I had a taste for an omlette, bacon and hash browns and after fighting Friday traffic both directions didn't have enough time left to try and get out of town.
From the rail to Pepsi Fulton industrial to grab an empty to Covington back to the heartland yard. 134 miles. 4hrs 50 min.
The only upside was the shipper closed at 1700 and I got there 1655. Check in, load and check out and I rolled out the gate at 1708 lol guess they were ready to go home.
Got back to the heartless yard and the empty I grabbed had a flat. Being who I am I couldn't just leave it so I called it in. They told me drop it grab another and go and just had me leave a message on the maint line. Tagged it OOS put a note on it documenting the time called in and got out of there before they changed their mind.
Be home by noon with a good week.
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

I thought TA would have more room to park truck and slide the tandems if I needed after scale... So, I scaled the load there this morning...
And was tempted to have their shop check the clearance light on top of trailer as that thing was flickering this morning... But lady said there would be a minimum 2 hr wait... So, I decided to leave...Vilhiem, TruckDuo, chopper103in and 1 other person Thank this. -
Don't forget Moby Dick's dad.
TruckDuo Thanks this. -
And my backing this morning wasn't too too hard... but I did pull up 3 times to get a better set up... this with lots of traffic waiting from both directions in that little street... Oh well...
This is where I pick up this morning in Hillside, NJ...
Actually it was NOT where I thought it would be... just close to it... but another building down the same street...
All those narrow narrow streets with vehicles parked on both sides, and lots of trees made me kinda nervous... Was glad to get out of there...
Now parked at a wonderful HUGE rest area/welcome center in OH... having my supper and will start driving at 3:30 am... just the way I like it... as long as it's not snowing... yet...
Will be at company terminal on Sunday morning.... if no delays.. But will have to wait till Monday for them to come and shop to open... Gotta fix bunk heater, replace windshield fluid reservoir, maybe install my power inverter and maybe replace this freaking SLOW piece of crap Peoplenet... this last one is wishful thinking... but I will try...Vilhiem, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, TruckDuo and 1 other person Thank this. -
