I know......,A few weeks ago, I gave a driver a ride to Sumner that has been working about month at SNI to P/U a truck. It has 125K miles on it. I have not said anything about another truck yet. Kinda attached to this old thing. Still in good shape, good MPG. Really no complaints. Got all the bugs worked out of it.

New pre assighnment is to DH 18 miles to Portland for a D/H. This load is a 4 stop live load. First stop is 272 miles in Moses Lake WA. Workflow says 15 minutes at stop. Wow. All other stop are 30 minute unloads. The next 3 stop are 106 miles away in Spokane WA. All deliveries are for tomorrow.

433 miles today. That is about 100 more miles than it should be.
After P/U my D/H in Portland, I headed towards Moses Lake. After about 50 miles down the road , I get a message to the truck. The shipper forgot to load my 1st stop on the trailer. Back to Portland I head. Took them 40 minutes to load what was left behind. Lost about 3 hours time on my 70 because of the snafu. Paid for the extra miles, but not the point.
Made it to Moses Lake for the night.MThunter Thanks this. -
Well my 15 minute live unload has turned into a 3 hour ordeal and counting. All today's other deliveries will be late now. Notified DBL. I just hope the last stop is still opened when I get there. Crap......

Bah, that sucks. I hate multi stops here, they suck. I've been at the Portland OC since yesterday and this place is a zoo! They need to have a separate yard for intermodal. Trucks are packed in so bad, I couldn't leave if I wanted to.
Talked with a guy who runs intermodal up here and it sounded interesting. I like the 5 days a week and 2 days off, but the pay sounded really weird -
They sure do suck, big time. On Friday/ Saturday nights anymore, you can't find a parking spot. I have had to disconnect my trailer, park it next to the ones they are trying to sell near the entrance and park the tractor over by the maintainance shop. Then you have 10-15 guys parking bobtail where a trailer should park. Our DBL told us to park only in the BT area if you have no trailer. Also need to get rid off those old trailers.
112 miles today. Finally left Moses Lake around 12:30. Made it to my 2nd delivery at 14:30. Left at 16:00. 2 stops to go. This store had more to unload and only 1 person doing the unloading and was still was faster than Moses Lake. Called my DBL to inform him that I did not think I was going to make it to my last stop by 18:00 when the store closes. After on hold for 15 minutes, he said to keep going and I will be fine, if not delivery at 10:00 tomorrow. Great... He said he would not put me on this run again. Thank You...
Made it to last delivery at 17:55. 5 minutes to spare. Took 30 minutes to unload. I help unload since the crew that was suppose to unload had gone home. Took a hit for 3 late deliveries today. Just awesome. Thanks Moses Lake.MThunter Thanks this. -
The hit being to your ETA metric for bonus?

Yes, I will eat those late deliveries. Have not had a late delivery in over a year.
517 miles yesterday. From Spokane I headed 185 miles to Moxee for a D/H that was headed 180 miles to Portland for another D/H.
New pre assignment was DH 147 miles to Sumner for a D/H to take back to the drop lot to relay. The load is going to Hurricane UT.
Got to my D/H in Sumner. Attempted to P/U loaded trailer. 1 leg of the landing gear will not raise. Called SEM. 2 wait for them just to get back to me. Here I sit till?MThunter Thanks this.
