you're right about the soft ground look on YouTube i have seen roads give away under asphalt it does seem spiteful some times even concrete gives way with water under it and an air pocket forms

 

I drove for Millis in late 98 Early 99 and one night in Kentucky on RT 9 the shortcut between Cinci and West VA I stopped for the night in Maysville KY at a TS there for the night. I Broke through the Freaking Parking lot during a Thunderstorm that night. How do I know I broke through the Lot when I got up to go in for my Breakfast in the morning the last step off the truck well it was Short by about 2 Feet. I almost put my Knee into my Chin. The TS was like What Happened turned out they had used the Wrong grade of Sub base under the parking lot and not installed the Drainage tile he ORDERED. He was Pissed. I got hammered with a PREVENTABLE ACCIDENT for being there ASLEEP. Why because it took 3 Hooks to Pull me out. I was sunk into all 5 axles and the landing gear was bent. They said I should have felt the Truck shake as it sunk. I replied to Mr Millis as he was reaming my Rear out YOU TRY FEELING ANYTHING WHEN YOUR IN A 80MPH Cross winded Thunderstorm and your Truck is Missing on 2 Injectors.

 

What did he want you to do turn into superman and lift the truck out? You could of gotten killed getting out like that MILLIS caring about their driver again!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

 

Dan Millis is a prick and he's the one who tarnishes everyones DAC report.

I quit Millis earlier this year. The spy cams and microphones were too much for me.

I call 'em spy cams, because, even though it's on the windshield staring at you, they lie about when it's on.

 

must be useless Dan took over trashing the DAC's from that coke snorting little puke Mikey...When I was there in '93 nobody left on good terms...

The next job I applied for even asked me that "does anybody ever leave there on good terms" ??

 

I worked at Millis years and years and years and years ago , Dan and his crew were
absolutely notorious at finding ways to get back the safety bonus.
It was a scary place to work , they used the DAC as a weapon.
One of the worst places in this industry to work ,
but they offered free training , so what the hey.

 

Here is what they tried to get me for saying I had a Rollover Accident in GA when on that day I was sitting in PA delivering a load of Paper. They also tried to claim I had get this destroyed Company Equipment right before I quit. Well I was on the Tri-State Tollway idiot suicide Dove me for an Exit. I stood on the brakes to avoid hitting a Lexus in the ### a Keg of Beer on the top of the load Flew off the pallet and blew thru their Bulkhead their Local Driver had installed at Trenton OH and put the E Track Bar through the Nose. Never mind that 2 other Millis drivers saw what happened Reported it TO Dan I was blamed for Damaging a Traded in Trailer.

 

1. That's kinda the whole point of the report, to catch all the things that wouldn't show up on a driver abstract. Otherwise DAC would be worthless, as someone could just go to the DMV.

2. Companies generally don't put anything on the DAC report until you leave the company. I found this out the hard way and successfully, with others, sued them. I should post that story sometime

I was part of a class action lawsuit on hire right....
We won the case, all of us drivers involved got a $154. 00 dollar check in the mail, don't know many of us were in the class action case but it was a victory for the drivers.
....if a driver disputes the dac report the company has to have proof of their claim and still the driver can dispute it again.
Most drivers will roll over and die instead of fighting tooth & nail until the company drops the bogus claim....
We are not hopeless guys & gals they just want you to feel hopeless so they can have their peace but we all have the right and should use our rights especially if it's a vicious lie that's been placed on public record.
Stay on them until they are blue in face and having nightmares about you
