If you're active duty military tuition assistance will pay $4k towards your CDL. That $4k doesn't come out of your GI Bill so if you're still active military this is the best route to go.

I agree using tuition assistance for school is the best way to go. Save the gi bill until after you get out.

Schneider has been good to me. Been with them 6 months. If your a military vet then you can make an extra $14,000your 1st year. Hit me up if you have any questions.

All this program does is use your post 9-11 up as an apprenticeship. They will pay you BAH for Schneider home base and it uses 1 year of gi Bill.
I've used mine already at an apprenticeship and I would t do it again you can make more and get more money by attending college. And earning a degree instead of waiting it driving. Never say never either if save it. BAH for some parts of Cali NY and MA are over 3k a month if attending class there. -
Mine is about 1200 a month in Ga. Not bad as an extra bonus.

Home_on_wheels and mickeyrat Thank this. -
Vets are also being sought by the Building Trades. This is something that I would suggest that should be looked at as well. Check out all of your options and make the best decision for your long term future.
