TA Prescott Ar.
Shipper today ruined a perfectly good plan that would have put me home Saturday with 3545 for the week. Had just enough time to get it up to Indy tomorrow and make the next pickup.
Till it took them 3:40 to load 10 pallets. I was having to sit and wait while they made the product then loaded it as it came off the line. Which also put me dead center in the middle of Dallas rush hour. Took 15 minutes just to get a big enough hole to get out of the entrance into the street.
So I end up dropping it at the drop lot in Memphis tomorrow and most likely get a transfer load home from ecru and end up with 3150+/- a little.TruckDuo and HeWhoMustNotBeNamed Thank this. -

Coming west inbound today around mt pleasant had a very slightly faster truck get out to pass. There was a charger running up his ### and very impatiently blowing his horn as he wanted to get by. Now.
I was just about to back out a little and let him get on by until I saw this jerk tailgating and wearing the horn out so with no traffic coming from behind I made him suffer while the guy got on by.
He didn't even have room to get through when he floored it and tried to shoot the gap between us to the right. He was about 2 feet short of making it. I had to get the brakes pretty hard to keep from turning the moron sideways and gave him the horn for good measure too.
Texas trooper was on the shoulder on the east side as this happened. Few minutes later I see him coming hard in the mirror with his lights on. Blew by me at what had to be 90. About 3-4 miles on down the road he had the jerk pulled on the shoulder.
He looked up and waved as I went by. Had to give him 2 short pulls on the horn in approval. Gotta give that one a pat on the backRocks, TruckDuo, RedForeman and 3 others Thank this. -
Ok... me.. outta here...
