Ate dinner and gambled my change away at the Ute Mountain casino.

 

The Indigo Girls are playing on the background speakers here. I suddenly feel like running over some hippies.

 

I had walked back from the main casino to the travel center as it's an absolutely beautiful night. Get back to my truck.....and the jack wagon next to me has his truck on high idle.

 

Anyone dealing with those handles...it drives everyone nuts.

Ones that really piss me off are those #### sixth wheel handles!!

Dispatch was teasing me... One of the reasons I like my boss/dispatch is she's got that sick sense of humour.

The above is my fiancee's cat after telling it that she'd be gone for a week and a half.

She's packing alright. But what she's packing is far more lethal and doesn't require a permit.

Better get moving, I'm on a more strict timetable than my company ever dreamed of. Unfortunately I'll be coming back into Atlanta right at 6:30-7:00... I'm looking forward to it about as much as a dental patient wants his teeth pulled without anesthesia.

 

I think the tribal cops are making the lazy drivers double parking by the fuel island move to the new parking lot across the street.

 

I like those cops, they should get an increase wage if they keep up that behavior.

 

As an update I5 is still closed with a detour.

Also CA58 is closed for a different mudslide.

I'll deal with that crap after the sun comes up. Too many super truckers around tonight.
