Seems that there has been a mudslide on the Grapevine that has closed it. Looks to have involved a lot of cars and trucks.

I'm caught up in this mess now . greetings from Lebec. my family and i spent 9 hours trying to leave LA last night and ended up on 14 towards mojave. everything is closed and flooded. i think the drivers at the flying j over here about to riot. they were running out of food last time i was in there.

Latest report said that the mud was over 6 feet deep in places. It is going to take a while to dig all of that out.

Did they save any of that water or did they just let it all go into the ocean so they can complain about not having water later.
