He was out test drivin' a few cars today and he says he's tired of drivin' now. He especially didn't like that C class Mercedes, said he just couldn't get comfortable in it, no matter how much he twisted and squirmed. .... [IMG] ..... there were two little red numbers he liked better though .... [IMG] ..... one was a Ford Tempo or an Escort, I believe .... [IMG] .... maybe it was a Mercury Topaz ....

Your pup may veto the idea, but I like to keep my chains on the passenger floorboard. Makes it slightly less miserable to put them on if they've been baking under the foot-defroster for the past few hours...

She's happy as long as there's food, water, and a path to the bed. Actually, that's where I used to stow them, until I got my cooler. Since I'm much more likely to reach for a refrigerated drink or snack than a tire chain while driving, the two chain bags got moved to the back floorboard underneath a bunch of other crap. The downside to that whole plan is when I eventually do use them then take them off, the floor of the bunk is probably not where i want to have a wet slushy mess. 4 states has my business after the lighting project on the Freightliner, so I'll probably get the frame mounted rack from there too.

Winter is here. Still running a/c at home, I forgot about what happens to padlocks on the door when it gets below 32º in wet/snow. Fortunately, the kid is on the ball today. Whipped out my barely used propane torch and taught that lock a lesson.

No, no, you got it wrong. Everyone here is a repo man or bill collector and they're all after me.
