Hello men, was wondering if anyone here can tell me if any particular brand of truck is cheaper on insurance that the other? Such as a W900 vs T800 vs Cornado vs Cascasdia? Im aware of the other variables, type of freight, driver experience ect... Just wondering if the insurance alone on the truck is marketed like a commuter vehicle,> Honda's are more expensive because their stolen everyday.... I'm doing homework to spec one for heavy flatbed or RGN lowboy. Thanks in advance, great forum. -Brian

I don't believe there's any difference aside from hazmat and sometimes where you run. However, I haven't owned a truck in 5 years, but I don't remember any difference between brands, only newer vs older.

Physical damage insurance is based on the value of the truck, nothing to do with brand.

A truck assembled by pieces and rivets rather than the design used on so many trucks now has a better chance of being repaired.
