The only thing I felt, was the hard cornering, while in the sleeper.Im the greatest driver on earth!
Im constantly watching for conditions around me.
I look a mile down the road,and make adjustments,to lane position,and speed,a long time,before I need to.
Everything done on the road,is done smoothly..Im in no hurry.
My partner just finished, his 11 hour shift,I had 2 hours behind the wheel, when I scaled.
I took responsibility for it,even though I knew,it was my partners poor driving habits.
I hate Peoplenet, where are you parked and recipes thread

The load, was pre loaded,so Im guessing, there were no straps or load locks used.
The only way the load could shift, would be toward the rear.
I always use straps and load locks,when I seal a trailer.TruckDuo Thanks this. -
Another example..when coupling and uncoupling,I lower suspension, line up with king pin, then raise suspension, and complete, the coupling process.
Same when I uncouple,crank the landing gear,enough to create,a small gap,then lower suspension,and uncouple.
I might have to get out a few extra times, but Im saving extra wear and tear,on the fifth wheel and king pin.
I also always slide my tandems,to save wear on the trailer suspension. -

Every once in a while I like to slum it at a TS like that it provides a reminder for how far I've come as a driver and how far the industry has sank..

Finished up at Tulsa and on our way back to Dallas they told us we could deadhead to El Paso, TX. Since I had questions on best route to take, I called up Mr. @PackRatTDI. Gonna try something new and go on US277 from I-44. Had my doubts when he started using too many "lefts" and "rights" but decided to look it up on that laminated book thingy and sure enough it looks good. Turns out we'll be getting to EL Paso at the same time so gonna meet up tomorrow.
