but... getting back to the point... I am pretty sure there is an OC in Jackson MS which is about 4 hours north of me on HWY 49... so from what I can gather, I can run from home-Jackson-north al- ga- SC- tn- Jackson and pick and drop along the way... right?

No OC there but they do have a drop lot.
A shipper screwed me over and I couldn't make on time delivery so Schneider had me drop the loaded trailer there nearby at the drop lot.
Loads change and go all over. Mississippi isn't great (especially southern).. I do know that. Still better than Florida, Colorado and alikes though.Joe De Artay Thanks this. -
OOOoooOO did not realize that wasn't an OC... Schneider is partnered up with the school I am going to and recruits from there, so why hire drivers that live 500 miles or more away from an OC... am I missing something?

Howard Transportation has a terminal in Ellisville, MS.
150 truck private carrier for Howard Industries. They haul lots of electrical transformers out of Jackson area and also have 2 other terminals in NC and WV.
