    That's because they're a second chance company. They got tired of buying bus tickets for people that quit even before orientation is over.
    Hitchhike if you have to. At least they will hire you and put you in a nice hotel during orientation. Other drivers posted pictures of the hotel rooms and say they're really clean and well kept.

    I have no clue about the trucking industry at all I think that was a bad mistake from the beginning

    Not a bad mistake; trucking is a great career. The mistake people make is choosing the wrong carrier right out of CDL school. The new CDL grad is excited and jumps on the first job offer the school pushes. The better jobs you probably won't hear about in CDL school plus the school instructors try to steer you to usually 3 or 4 companies that have the highest turnover of drivers.

    It is a great backup career in case plans don't work out. I got out of HR, got a b.s. Degree I just don't want to deal with #####y HR women. love the serenity and peace driving a semi.
