When I saw the place on Google... I thought what I normally think when I go to some the places we go... "You must be freakin kidding me..." WTF!??!
Maybe I would have tried to back all the way from the parking place where you were to the freakin dock...

 

Hmmm, did you just call me corny ? ..... ..... finally figured it out, eh ? .... The rest of the Gang knew when I walked in the door last Spring.

 

So... I had all planned for my trip after delivery today in Los Angeles... But I woke up this morning to a msg from DSP saying she had switched our loads... mine and the other driver who was going to Los Angeles too... He needed to go to OKC for hometime after delivering in Los Angeles... So... I got his load from Long Beach after empty in Los Angeles...

So... today I REALLY HAD TO RUSH..... No time to brush my teeth, no time for breakfast or even use the restroom... We all left the company warehouse this morning 2 hrs early to avoid being late at the event... And the drivers wanted ME to be unloaded first cause after that I would have to rush to Long Beach...
So... I did... rush rush... rush rush... thru Friday morning traffic jam all the way from Ontario to LA.. Parked on central lane, flashers on... ran to the building to let folks know we were coming... they would need to move their vehicles far from the gate so I could get the truck inside their tiny vehicle parking lot...

And this is where I was unloaded... well... just the view in front of me..



The other 2 trucks came right behind me...
Unloading went so fast... I barely had time to rush to the restroom and finish figuring out how I would get out of that place and get to shipper in Long Beach...
Left that place in Los Angeles and headed to wider streets... rubbing the trailer roof on branches and such...



Was loaded in less than one hr in Long Beach... rushed to truck stop for scale.... secured the tire inside trailer...
And took that freakin CA-91 again... That road is AWFUL!!! I HATE IT....

Now parked at a rest area in AZ... Will deliver this somewhere west of Fort Worth.... receiver said I can park there overnight on Sunday...
After delivery on Monday will pick up somewhere else around there too and head to NC...
Gotta go to bed now... catch you all later.....

While I was doing the pickup the agent calls and asks how I feel about a run to Denver on Sunday, They had a truck cancel out. Got distracted by the money and said yes before I remembered Eisenhower and winter.......
