I'm looking at applying at the advance nc location for ptp.anyone know the starting pay? From what I've read here and heard from like two people this week it's a good place to work.

Yep I'm looking at 72+ depending on how hard I run the rest of the year as well. Running out of advance.

Flat mileage rate is .37-.39 but add in the supplementals and it pushes it way up. My ytd mileage rate all in is running between .45-.52/wk.

The biggest factor that affects that is the length of run, how much deadhead and how many d/h you can squeeze into a week

Unlike most places, the longer trips do NOT equal a bigger paycheck. It's a pretty consistent avg check week to week though regardless of the trip mix.

lol you gotta be more than that I'm at .38

That was the last range I heard. It was 36-38 when I was hired but they bumped it right after I got hired.

I had my worst week of the year this week with 2650. piss poor planning, wasted an entire day on a bs backhaul to st paul and only got 330 in that day and then they brought me in a day early.

wife was supposed to go out with me next week to get the last week before winter cutoff and couldn't leave sunday and they knew it for over a week. brought me in yesterday and planned me out sunday so she can't go. wouldn't change my load and were very unsympathetic to how bad they screwed up our plans. she worked hard for 3 weeks to make sure the dog sitter was lined up, kids were taken care of and her volunteer work at the church was covered for the week and then they blew it big time. now she can't go again until spring. good thing for them she doesn't have access to the cube farm she is none too happy with them.

9.9 days out of 10 I have no real complaints but when they #### things up they do it in a big way.

If you do the math on mileage+drop pay a lot of those Tupelo locals or close in store unloads out of ecru come in at .70-.80 to over 1.00 a mile all in.

Same thing with Leesport. Even though it's under 100 miles on most of them turn 2 of 3 of those in a day then get something better going out it really bumps the check for the week.
