Lol this thread..... Yeah... Anyways I worked for a 25 truck company, I'll keep it simple, pay day was Friday.... But money wasn't in my account until Monday......Tuesday.......shoot maybe even Thursday's some weeks. Just one example. I work for Schneider now, better yet...I'm LEASING a truck from them, that'll give you big bad super truckers a laugh, I get paid on time every week. And I'm happy. Imagine that! Now I got a question... How come a bunch of grown men care about what another man is doing with his life? I bet a good 90% of these guys haven't gotten ##### in years (lot lizards and iPhone don't count, sorry) honestly....who gives s flying ####? Carry on guys....lol

Ahh yes we have another one. Please tell us all how much money your making. Don't forget tell us how great leasing is. Because we all know statistics tell us leases have such a awesome success rate.

Leasing in it self is not bad, Why yes there is some companys out there that you should avoid it does not means they are all like that. Also alot of failures are on the driver, simply because he or she has no idea how to manage finances or a business for that matter. You never lease to get rich, frankly unless your going past one truck you wont ever get rich doing this, Regardless if you lease or are a o/o.

My goal out of all of this was to get my truck, which lucky enough I have done.

Not all leases are the same.
Most all are cheap mileage pay while still having a dispatcher and yes the statistics show that they are indeed terrible.
Schneider is % and picking your own loads from thousands updating constantly. Big difference.

As much as anyone want's to call the Mega carriers bottom feeders and they don't pay etc etc etc. from a business perspective you do not have 6000 tractors or 10,000 tractors or 16000 tractors out there and all the drivers are not getting paid or making money. It is just not possible..

Well paid peanuts is still not making money and I know in the companies I own if my employees are not making money they are not going to be my employees for long... I am by NO means saying that Mega carriers or any sized carrier is in the right.. I am merely making an observation that they have got to have plenty of drivers at the very least making a living or how else would they be able to maintain fleets as big as they are??
