Did you not ask any questions before taking the offer?HorseShoe Thanks this.

Did you get my pm yesterday? Imo, GLR is a great account. They do a good job keeping me rolling. There is an occasional wait for freight sometimes, but you're not sitting for days waiting for a load. You get home weekly if you want or you can stay out longer and the pay is great. The only thing is you have to stay on top of your game. No messing around. Customer service is a priority.

My trainer was on GLR acct and has been since 2004 I think. He loves it. Drives back n forth from Mpls to Detroit several times a week. We even went to PA, OH, KY and Kansas when I was training. Driving thru Chicago can be a pain, but we usually timed it so it was at night and not anywhere near rush hour. He's also a trainer and Diamond driver, so I know he was making over $100K/yr. That's actually what I was going to be on until they offered me the Chep acct. I took Chep so I get home nightly and usually am done by 1-2pm.

How soon after going otr with swift arec local opportunities available
-
The most common answer is 6 months, but if there is a vacancy on the account that you want, ask and you may receive the spot. And, the only way to really find out if there is an opening is to ask the person in charge to begin with. Your current DL will probably not go out of their way to help you go to a different fleet.SHOJim Thanks this.
