I saw a billboard wanting team drivers for Mohawk flooring out of Dalton GA recently. I don't know if they take students or require what level of experience. I did see that they were splitting around .60cpm

Look them up and go from there

USXpress seems like a good outfit for new team drivers from what I've read on this forum. @TruckDuo can offer more insight and possibly offer you additional suggestions. Good Luck!

I've heard that USX isn't great for miles, but you never know.

with USX youll get .48 split plus .5 if you both have hazmat and .5 if you stay out 45 days or more so that's .58

people claim you might not get miles on here may be true for some but the few people I have known that go with them were getting 6k+ a week after only a few months working for them.

I would like to offer a bit of caution. I am speaking from my own experience. Just coming out of school and with a shining new CDL in my pocket. I did not know how to drive professional. I hit lots of trees and signs. I was like a tornado. I remember one light pole coming down in the middle of a parking lot and wondering where the h e ll that came from. If you are confident in your skill set, then by all means hit it. But I would suggest you two split some time with trainers before you set out as a team. Go with Werner or a mega for a month and then team together for 5 months before you look for a better company. Team drivers command the highest pay in the industry but two folks who are not at the top of there game get fired twice as fast.

As a side note. If you have Sirrus Radio, you can listen to the HLN network and learn what mistakes spouses who murdered their spouses have made in the past. Could save you some jail time.
