Almost to my huge parking space in OKC

Those shades would be gray mud. Gray mud puddles and gray dust. The place is a mud pit after all the rain.

To go along with the gray hairs I got playing beat the clock trying to get back here from ripley. Had it figured to the last minute then got behind some moron with nowhere to go and all night to get there and couldn't get around him.

At least I got a running commentary from the wife while she was reading the posts as I was driving lol

Been a long day. Somewhat mentally exhausting dragging 78k of bales of fiber out 40 to 75 to 24 to 72 to 15 in the hills and pouring rain for 580 of 630 miles.

The wife marveled at how ( not lol ) glass smooth 72 is running north Al and Ms.

Slow start to the day tomorrow 235 to Clarksville, Tn for a customer unload. Snag an extra 50 for that and only 7k. Already knocked out 1250 between yesterday and today

 

lol I try real hard not to let it happen but I push it to the limit so it's inevitable I get 1 or 2 a year.

If not for the idiot in the neon it would have gone to 0 at the gaurd shack

Hey.. I tried to catch up a little with you guys tonight but still very behind... about 32 pages so far.. So... it would be very helpful it you folks don't type much for the next 3 or so days... and I'll try to catch up with y'all.. But for now, gotta go to bed...
Delivered in Abilene, TX this morning.. then reloaded somewhere else in Abilene this afternoon... still carrying a freakin tire in the trailer with load... and have to be moving it in and out at customers and securing it with straps so it doesn't bang around and damages the load...
Going to NC... Decided to take I-20 all the way to Atlanta cause less congestion than I-40... Besides, better parking options for my 10 hr break... and much better place to park when I get close to receiver in NC..

BTW, delivery appt set by CH was totally impossible... not enough time..
So... I Google receiver's number, called and talked to Mr. so and so in charge of delivery appt... he gave me their appt availabilities and I gave him my ETA... He said OK... and we are both happy....
My DSP said that's fine too... I will notify CH tomorrow about the reschedule...

Now parked at a rest area in LA...

Can you folks,tell me if the safe haven rule,is actually in the rules somewhere?
I ran out my 14 hour clock,at a receiver,had to drive 20 miles,to walmart to park.
It was the opposite direction,from my next stop,and I still had a load on my trailer.
I could have lied,and used off duty driving,but did not.
Whats the fine for driving 30 minutes,past your 14?
I had driving time left,and had 4 hours,in the slerper...just didnt have duty time.
