Just kidding, this guy is trying to stay home, browse loadboard and get loads for independents. To do that you gotta work for a company and then convince some drivers to go independent and hire you as a dispatch. Without experience you are worthless for anybody, you gotta know brokers and how lanes work

I didn't think that you meant to use the word "disgusting." I agree with Dune-T.... No one wants to show you how to do their job, invest countless hours in your training, or be your mentor when you are not in it for the right reasons.
From a hiring perspective, I would give your approach a hard pass.
Just like with other industries, you need to start at the bottom with an attitude of graciousness. "I am so grateful for the opportunity to learn from you." "How can I be of service?" "Do we have time to go over ABC so that I can be a greater asset to your company?" These are all things that will get you what you want.
This is coming from 30 years in the service/hospitality industry:
No one wants to invest in someone who has no intention of sticking around for a while... if not forever. Training is an investment in my company and if you are planning to walk away with everything I give you without a thought to how that is going to affect me, then I would know right away that you are not a good fit for my company.
If all you want to do is learn, then get a job, a book, a class, etc and learn. What you want is the value of hard earned information and it is not easily obtained with the tactics you are currently using.TekaShay Thanks this.
