All done with fuel and highway use tax filing for a few months. Despite running 75% of our usual mileage in Q3, our trips made it easy to include low cost fuel stops, that also happen to be in low tax states on the way to higher tax states (#1 was SC, where we bought 42% of total fuel for the quarter). Net/net is that less tax was paid at the pump, so a fairly big payment to settle IFTA. It's all good though, average cash price for fuel last quarter worked out to $2.177/gal. I'm too lazy to get the total fuel tax paid and subtract, but guessing my net price on fuel (without fuel tax) was $1.90 - 1.95.

Even raised both middle fingers high to my home state capital and their recent excise tax on fuel scheme ("stealth" fuel tax buried in the pump price to hide it from consumers). Ran 30% of total miles in GA and only bought 12% of the fuel here.
